OREGON COUNSELING ASSOCIATION (ORCA) has served the counselors of Oregon for over 60 years. Asan affiliate of the American Counseling Association (ACA), ORCA has successfully united counselors from alldisciplines in legal, educational and informational matters. “The Counselor,” is published quarterly, covering timely issues, providing important event details, and presenting an opportunity for members to publish articles,opinions, and ideas. The annual fall conference is a cornerstone of the organization, presenting educationaland networking opportunities to all attendees. As a united body, ORCA also provides an opportunity for counseling associations to work together for the benefit of all members and client populations their members serve.ORCA members may also elect to join specialty divisions that provide targeted information and networking appropriateto work setting and professional areas of interest.
